This article is not as much good but it is normal. Window vista has advance features but it used only for system not for life.

Wow… none of these are even unique to Vista. I could have easily done all these things in Linux years before Vista even existed. This post reeks of noob.

I mean… Directories and subdirectories? Are you seriously suggesting that’s some ground-breaking feature in Vista?

Sorry. But this IS Vista shilling.

I am a fan of Vista. People may post bad things about Vista, but in reality, they don’t know how to use it properly. If you have stability problems(BSOD, Viruses/Spyware, ETC) That is really the users fault. Vista is a great OS, and most people don’t really know how to protect themselves OR they don’t know how to do simple things like defragging/disk cleanup(Vista has an auto-defrag scheduler)….I appreciate you posting this information, as it is helpful to those who are not as computer literate. I’ve gotten BSOD’s before, BUT that was due to a hardware problem, and it happens, but people quit/give up too easily on VISTA.

This cracked me up…”Vista skimped on the marketing budget to make good software”, (you know they had 30 people working just on the off button..)

Actually I congratulate the author, this is the only positive article on Vista I’ve read.

Microsoft have provided the common elements of an operating system for the home user. I think the issue and why the transition to Vista has been unsuccessful, XP and Win7 being the other options, is its flawed basic UI and its bloat (plus all the points Friday raises, which are correct).

The applications you mention in your article will be carried across and its good to point them out to the average user who may not know they exist, at least if your on Vista you may as well try and extract some joy from it…

Friday… why is it that if something is in favor then it has to be paid advertising? and No it’s not paid for by anyone, it’s an article about Vista plain and simple, if you read more into then you’ve obviously got a bias yourself…
It’s not biased, it’s all about Vista and that’s it. There are articles that are ONLY about MacOs, so are they biased as well? But I’m guessing you’re a Mac fanboy, so of course they wouldn’t be biased in your opinion right?

This article tells nothing. It’s biased and obviously paid advertizing by Microsoft.

Let’s see what will Vista give me: DRM, unbelieveable restrictions of my rights, unnecessary problems, slow filecopy, slow network transfers, uninteroperability with other OSs, crashes, BSODs…

And most of these “features” you listed above are present in XP too.

Vista brings nothing new to the table and is way too expensive.

Not talking about MacOs at all.
