Yes today is September 11th 2011, the anniversary of the terrorist attacks here in the United States. Geographically, being in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, that puts me relatively close to all of the attacks. I remember where I was when it happened, I was right near downtown Pittsburgh and I can recall the sirens and helicopters flying around and the subsequent evacuations, traffic jams and panic that followed. Yes it was scary, who would have thought we were that vulnerable. Many changes have been brought on by that fateful day, I’m not sure those changes are for the better or worse though. I’m not too sure really what else to say about all that, except that our hearts go out to the families of the victims of this awful tragedy.
