Arctic Cooling seems to be getting into much more than just cooling. They just launched a mobile USB charger with solar panel that will work with most any mobile type of device like cell phones, mp3 players and portable gaming systems. It comes with tips for Sony Ericsson, Samsung, Nokia and Motorola and it’s compatible with the iPhone and iPod touch.The charger has a built-in lithium-ion battery that can be charged either using the sun or a USB port. The price is only $24.60, which isn’t too bad at all.

    Sounds really good for powering your mp3-player on a sunny day outside :-)
    But I wonder how much power it can generate and therefore how fast it can recharge the devices’ batteries. That will probably be an important factor in how popular it will become.
