The same problems exist in the Workforce 610. I got one for my office and loved it. So I picked 1 up for home use. The office 610 simply quit printing properly after replacing an ink cartridge. It acts like the print head is clogged. Cleaning, etc., does not help – had to toss it. The home printer now jams every time I print. Can’t print one single thing. I owned both for less than a year. I will NOT buy Epson again.

my 13 month old epson wf600 paper feed failed too. what a waste of money..

Just got off the phone with an Epson tech. Somebody with bad english just told me that my workforce 600 was out of warranty. the false paper jam error could only be solved at a repair center at my expense! The Epson tech generously directed me to a “customer loyalty” web site, where they would gladly sell me a replacement printer at a highly inflated price minus the loyalty discount, which equaled a price that is higher than shopping the internet!. All in all Epson Sucks! They chew ink. and now an almost new condition printer is ready for the heap because of a false paper jam error! Goodbye and good riddance Epson!

I also had issue with spurious “paper jam” warning on my Workforce 600. After calling Epson learned that printing onto 3 hole drilled paper causes the problem. Sensor gets confused by the hole!

Well i have the same problem… I used it for about 1 year and did relatively well despite the problems with the fax and the wireless… Now the paper jam is on and I can’t print… I can’t fax…
I get the turn the printer off message and clean the paper path…. the problem is I don’t use paper with holes….
I do not see any paper jammed in the machine…. there is nothing there to clean out… this is my last epson

I will get rid of it and buy something else

I would have posted a great review for this printer, right up to today. Even with the excess amount of ink & not being able to print black when we were out of color-BTW-only used Epson ink. We’ve had this printer for about 1 1/2 years and had no problems, not even the occasional paper jams. Then all of a sudden, I get a message of a paper jam, right after I just had a paper cleanly come out. Now, it will do NOTHING but tell me to clear the paper jam. I have been fiddling with it for over an hour, even reinstalled software. NO GOOD.
VERY UNHAPPY!!!
Wish I’d seen these reviews before buying.

so depressing now that I have the paper jam warning with nothing on the inside to indicate any paper jammed, and what a huge list of complaints! mine is also about one year old…Jeeze, I am stunned! too many ink cartridges(I have fully replaced them all at least 6 or 7 times)..it really is thirsty! The scanner is excellent for a machine that isn’t terribly expensive, but I can’t take the low usage issue here, I feel like I have hardly used it, and now apparently there is no fix, I have tried to restart (I even held the power button for 3 minutes to “reset” it as one person suggested, but that didn’t work either. Am waiting for epson to email me. I have used Epson printers forever, I have a large scale one that is 8 years old and still works amazingly, so I don’t see how my one year use of this little thing could have worn it out already!!

Good luck getting paper jam cleared. There is no way to easy clear a jam and they just get worse and worse.

I purchased this printer almost a year ago. Tried to print envelopes and got paper jam message, called epson tec support and they sent a “new printer” (not new but refurbished junk to trick you how great they are). Got “new printer ” to work for literally a week and got the exact same message (paper jam), called epson and they told me that I am out of luck because this printer that they sent me is not under warranty, did not offer any technical support to try to repair it on top of that the supervisor I talked to was a really unprofessional and rude. I will never buy from epson again!!!

i buy new ink cost 70.00 dollar and it still don’t work
i don’t have that kind of money to give away
i need to send my printer back
where should i send my printer to so i can send it back
to the company
i have clean and it still want work
what should i do?

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! My Wife and I bought this printer about a year and a half ago. The price we thought was reasonable and we found out why when we saw the price of epsons ink. The “epjunk” as I call it, worked for maybe 6 months and then would not print, copy, or scan. The only thing the epjunk would do is fax. I called the manufacture because the epjunk was still under warrenty and of course talked to someone who does not speak english. After about 2 hours of jumping through hoops to try and fix it, the rep. asked me if i was using epson ink. I had previously purchased a cheaper version of the ink prior to the epjunk going south on me. When I told the rep. this he voided my warrenty and told me by using ink other than epjunk ink the warrenty is void. When I told him there ink was to expensive he said the reason why was their premium ink will last 200 years; and thats when I told him I was not writting a constitution or any other document that would need to last 200 YEARS! and that I would never buy another epjunk product! PERIOD! So consider my loss your gain and steer far away from any epjunk products. And what ever machine you buy never tell them you are using any other ink besides theirs, this will void your warrenty and you will be on your own.

I purchased the workforce about 8 months ago, always getting error messages for paper jam when there isn’t, i go through a black cartridge every 2-3 weeks, as of today got an printer error message and every time i turn off /on i get same message. I would return for the warranty,but i will throw this POS in the garbage and never buy an Epson again.

Same problem as the others. This printer goes through ink terribly and now after replacing the black ink cartridge it will no longer print black. So VERY, VERY frustrating!!!! I will NEVER, EVER purchase an EPSON printer again….this kind of quality is irritating and horrible!!!
