I can’t make it small enough to fit my head. I am a small female but with an average sized (?) head. When I am wearing the headset the speakers are down by my jawbone and the headset feels loose. Not quite for EVERYman…..

It’s OK for all of you but I ordered one on 14th March andas at 1st April it hasn’t arrived. I saw nothing on the Skype Shop pages to say that delivery can take up to one month but that’s what they are now telling me! It’s a disgrace. Also under PayPal rules the T’s and C’s should be clearly available but, not being an internet guru, I was unable to find them.

Shame as I love Skype and use it all of the time (when I have a headset) but the sho[ lets them down badly.

Sound quality, incoming and outgoing, is excellent, and the price is right. Not the most comfortable headset of all time, but not bad. I do a lot of long conference calls and haven’t suffered permanent damage. No complaints.

Yes “dicdoc”, it is cheap and plastic-like, because it is cheap ($22.00 including shipping direct from Skype) and it is made of plastic! Let me know when you find a good headset made of wood, leather or precious metals.

Yes “Gizzmo”, if the sound is too loud “you gotta get to your computer and fiddle”, but this is not a wireless gizmo, so just how far to you gotta get?! Mute and volume control are a couple of mouse clicks away.

“Billbo”, you have my sympathy. My headset didn’t work at first and then I realized that I had to adjust the Audio setting in Skype/Preferences to Freetalk Everyman. Then it worked! True… Skype tech support is a slow e-mail slog, but you can get answers and you still can’t beat the price.

Some folks just love to complain. Get a life you guys!!!

I hear the headset works great for some people, and more thatn a few bloggers gave their free complimentary headset rave reviews. Mine doesn’t work. Worse yet, there is no tech support. Skype should be ashamed.

This headset sucks. For VOIP one needs a headset with a mute button and a sound control. This one has neither. So if it is too loud you gotta get to your computer and fiddle with the software in order to change. You might be deaf before that happens. Really really bad. And imagine that Skype claims that this is Skype Certified!!!! Makes me totally loose my belief in that label.. bad bad bad.

This is a terrible headset. Sound is ok but it feels soooo cheap and plastic-like. It is the least elegant design ever with the most unwieldy cable and earcushions that will make your ears sweat within minutes.

Needless to say I do NOT recommend the FREETALK Everyman Skype Headset.
