Hi,
i have Head Play SKU LIB -01
Which suddenly has stopped working ,it just turns on ,i can see blue light around the Power on/off/ switch and no display no other any sign ? what to do ? Head Unit and power supply works good with other unit of friend of mine..how n where get it fixed ..i am writing from SAUDI ARABIA .The unit was bought from USA.

really? only vga to pc? well i was going to buy it, but ill stick with my digital hdmi screen. i might buy it when they come with hdmi inputs, thanks ben.

I just bought this system and I am very disappointed. Unfortunately there are not many other systems to comapre with. The visor is good .Good option to correct the pupil distance and the refraction even if you wear glasses. However the liberator is a not at a l liberator. This unit is not portable. If you are travelling you need light and small unit so you can carry. Its a shame you have to connect with a VGA cable to your computer. The liberator is too big to carry around. Wish it was small . Wish the system could be connected with a small liberator box size of ipod.Wish it has direct HDMI cable conection to all peripherals. the cables are bulky. I am going to return it. The pciture is like seeing 52 inch TV from 11 feet. wish it had system wher you can bring picture close to your eyes, so you can get virtual reality feeling. Disappointed. Not worth the money

Dan Lowinbrow you are so wrong with this cool tech. I have a big feeling your trying to put this down by telling every one this is junk. You must be a mascot for the other product out there trying to compete. You really do sound like it. The HeadPlay is very awsome! Microsoft, Sony, H.P., GameInformer Magazine, your view vs just these 3 giants views? You lost. These giants has gave this a very big review with 5 stars. You wont see Apple giving this a try because they had came out with one and it sucked. You really didn’t get one or even tried it. Liar… If it walk like a duck or sound like a duck. Then it got to be Dan Lowinbrow…

Very nice review…i only have one thing still to ask about this…how is it in stereoscopic mode? How do you enable it?
For example, my graphic card has two dvi ports..does the headplay system have a way to attach both ports to it so that the pc can send different images to each eye?

I got this post from a friend of mine, and I just gotta say, Dan have you even compared Headplay to what else is on the market. Headplay Via the VGA connection is the best res out there for gaming with an HMD, plus they just released a HD software upgrade.

Wo… Did you buy it? I did and dude…I totally disagree with you! I am a big Halo 3 and Vegas 6 player… For me the Headplay can’t be beat as far as image quality and game feel. Lame gimmicks… ya, I got sucked into a few of those with other wearable displays claiming to be ‘high resolution’ , but this one I tried out at a gamer conference in NYC last year – bought one online and haven’t looked back. It works awesome with my XBox & my headset, – hop on XBox live and away you go… I think it’s killer Mr Lowinbrow… to each their own I guess.

I checked out this system and found that there were many disappointing things with this unit. first of all the actual design of the unit is just bad. The golf visor attached to it was probably a quick fix to a terrible design in which it would squish your nose if you were to watch an actual movie or even play games for any length of time. May other issues have been raised such as a short cord, bad resolution, small screen and so on.
Overall if you are a sucker for lame gimmicks, then I suggest that you just throw your money out the window instead of thinking about getting this inadequate excuse for not reading a book.
