I can get the pics on my computer but then I can’t do anything with them. I mean nothing. I can’t even move them elsewhere. Any advice on what is going on. I am stuck.

I love this camera. It works really good. I got for 200. I dont regret getting it one bit. I’m 15 and learning to a photographer and this is the perfect camera to get me started.

Many cameras have that problem is no excuse. All they have to do is include a view finder for those times when the sunlight restricts seeing the display. It is serious enough that Kodak recommends installing an sunshade.
Adjusting the “White Balance” to daylight is also recommended.

I just bought it for 100 USD! I did a comprehensive research before buying it and believe me. No other camera out there offer such a pack of features for such cost. I haven’t had enough time to test it properly but I can say it does show some noise at low light conditions in both pictures and display. I’ll add more comments as I have more time to test it

great camera great price. but a little disappointed with the color and sharpness i am getting,,it could be me,,have a lot to learn.battery life is real good but always have fresh ones with me..maybe some one could help me as to why i get a lot of orange pictures when i take them in doors?

What you did wrong, is, as I did; bought a name brand camera designed to sell for over $200, for less than $100. A bargain? No, just a discontinued, inferior model dumped on the market for suckers like us!

You may be right. I find the indoor pictures taken with flash ARE FUZZY. The outdoor shots using available light seem to be a little better. This appears to be a discontinued model that appeals to people because it’s CHEAP! The performance IS questionable.

Thank you Kristofer Brozio for the very thorough review of the EasyShare Z915, and thank you commenters too. I never had a digital camera; in fact, I used nothing but “throw away” cameras! )

Now, I’m looking for a digital camera without knowing anything about it; hence this site has enlightened me and will think about buying it when I can find a better price.

However…I’m puzzled as to why the so called “Point and Shoot” digital cameras aren’t shown anywhere in the internet with the large square windows with which one can take pictures without having close contact with one of my eyes. You know, you can “shoot” holding it at arm’s length or so. They show most cameras with a protruding spout-like part.

Also, I read somewhere that a digital camera must match the computer. Then it’s necessary to be more cautious when buying a camera, no?

Just bought this camera as a replacement for my Kodak DX7440. Has anyone noticed that YOU CAN’T USE the fill-in flash feature on the most popular “Smart Capture Mode.”? On the 7440, you could use it ANYTIME!

Those of you complaining about the sounds, the camera isn’t meant to be a substitute for your PC or TV for viewing a movie! Download your movie and burn a CD and watch it through the TV. Or just buy an A/V cable and plug the camera directly into your TV set. Geez!

The video sound on the camera won’t be loud, but once you transfer the video to your computer it will be as loud as you want and then some.
