Ok I want to help you guys on a couple of things since I had my phone for about a year now and I explore it every time I get bored, Ok to start off There is a camera button its on the right side of the phone, next thing when it says emergancy call only, it means two things, 1 it either can not get connection, or if you at disneyland or a place like that it picks up way to much. Another answer is, when the “Invalid Card” sign pops up its usually not even up for 3 seconds and it sometimes happens when you are not connected to the intenet, for the alarm problem it sometimes happens when you have unopened text. For the recent calls, you just need to press the green phone butyon and it tells your missed, recievd, and dialed calls just by a touch of one button. Also AT&T has VERY sucky service in some places, like now I have 1 bar in my house! So that explains the drop calls and unsuccessful message sending. Also to get T9 automatically and not always change it you just set it, and very simple to, all you have to do is, go to messaging then press the #9 or scroll down to settings, then you press #6 or scroll down to default edit mode then change it to T9 Predictive mode then press save and your all set. Well I guess thats it, please dont be shy ask for anymore issues, but now I have an issue my keypad stopped working for no reason so now im using my sisters old one.

Just got the c630 about a week ago. Prior to getting this, I actually had the c740 Matrix. I got the c630 because the Matrix really was too bulky. But the c630 offered everything the Matrix had in a much smaller, sleeker package. So far I am thrilled with the purchase! To address some earlier comments: @Paul: you mention that you had to dig thru the menu items to find recent calls. However, if you click on your Options button, you will find it right there as a shortcut. If it's not there by default, then hey, go ahead and add it! :-) @Kyle: You mention that you can't keep T9 as your default texting mode. Guess what - go to messsaging; Settings; Default Edit Modes; and there it is - T9 as your default text mode. I would recommend taking some time to get familiar with this great little phone. It's not a smartphone; but it's a great feature phone that doesn't weigh down your pocket with a 4" touchscreen! (I hate touchscreens)

Yeeeeeaaaa... I agree with Paul completley. My phone has every problem his also had and mine is pretty damn new. The sound quality on my end of a phone call is terrible. I find myself asking what the person said more than anything. Also "Invalid Card" is starting to get me mad!! My phone sends pictures sometimes and other times it's lazy and doesn't feel like it (wtf) and the phone is really confusing when your just getting used to it. I can't even keep T9 on i have to turn it on everytime I start a text. So I'd have to disagree. I hate the phone alot.

I do not like the C630 *at all*. I would give it two stars out of five. This is an overview of why the phone is poor. AT&T did a very poor job to release such a low-quality phone that *appears* in specifications to be nice, but in reality is not of high quality. GPS is not important when hearing the caller does not work...
The sound quality is diastrous; very garbled and muddy. I switched to this phone from the Nokia 610 (a five year old phone), and even with full bars (I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area) I can often barely hear what a person has to say. There are also way too many dropped calls; they occur on most of my phonecalls with full bars, especially when dialing: the phone starts to dial, then immediately disconnects without warning and just exits back to the main screen. So there I am, the phone to my ear, not knowing that it's not dialing...then after a few seconds I look back and see that it's back to the main screen, and there is no activity, nor message of a terminated call. It's as if I simply never even dialed.
There are simply too many bugs: as an example, often "Emergency Call Only" mode is activated when I have full bars, and it simply won't allow any phonecalls to be placed. The phone has to be turned off, then on again, to get it to work.
Many times accessing normal menu features (such as "Profiles") causes the phone to display "Invalid Card" for no reason, and then it exits back to the main screen. Or in the middle of just navigating through the menus using the joystick can cause this error to terminate whatever you were doing. Very frustrating.
Often the alarm simply deactivates itself randomly--before the alarm has a chance to go off. I've verified the night before that an alarm is set, but in the morning...nothing: it's set to "Off", sometimes even when I check it before the alarm time. Hence it is not me sleeping through it or turning it off.
Many useful features are buried in several, counter-intuitive menus. Want to see the Recent Calls list? First enter the Main Menu, then use the little joystick to navigate to My Stuff, then select *Tools and Utilities* of all things, then finally Recent Calls. That's 4-levels deep for what should be near the top layer.
The battery life is also pretty poor when using a Bluetooth headset; it has to be recharged every day after about an hour of talk. Also, the bluetooth strength is very weak: if I place the phone in my pants pocket opposite the side I'm wearing the headset on, the reception is very static-like and unclear: this is two feet away from the headset, and my body already blocks most of the signal.
The instruction manual does not discuss the relevant menus, only silly things like GPS navigator, etc., not intructions on how to set up some of the most basic settings on the phone. Nor does it explain why any of the random error messages (see above) might occur.
