ive had this phone for two years – and i absolutely LOVE the qwerty keyboard, as well as the phone’s durability. i text all the time, and its incredibly fast and easy. On the negative side, the phone has an annoying habit of shutting off in the middle of text messages and the battery life is no longer sustainable . Im not a fan of the inbox/sent box , and the signal isnt too great. the camera is pretty lousy, but i do like the music player and the fast button to access the music. overall, i love the qwerty keyboard. it is time for me to get a new phone, so if anyone knows a phone with a similar keyboard, but with better camera/music, and thread messaging features – please let me know .thank you

My slider on this phone that I have had for a long time but I’m not sure how long I have had the phone for just started to get super loose on me this morning meaning like I picked up and it clicked. Now its kind of stuck and clicking at me!! What should I do? I mean I can fix it but I’d have to wait until after school today I think

Excellent analysis LS. I agree. IF (and it’s a big ‘if’) ‘data buckets’ become the norm (as they should), a lap-dock is not a huge game changer. And I wouldn’t buy one for $500, either way. Especially if there’s no video-out, unless I buy the OTHER dock. That’s a non-starter for me.

It’s disappointing, but you may be right about the public in general. It’s sad though, because a reasonably priced package that lets you get a lot more out of your smartphone-cum-pocket-computer, helps justify the cost of a top-tier smartphone.

My husband has had one of these phones for almost 2 years and Its been a great phone. He has dropped it too many times and hes worked in 2 places in a shop and gotten grease on it and dropped it there to lol.. but hes had NO problems at all with this phone..Plus I even washed it in the washer, it went through both cycles and came out he took it apart and let it dry. After a few days he put it back together and guess what,?? It works, the only thing that is wrong with it is it drains the battery now, but overall I would have to say that this is a really good phone!!

I’ve had this phone for almost two years. At first, everything seemed okay, but then I noticed that the phone would freeze whenever I would try to text. Then I noticed that it would not recieve signal for hours at a time. If these things weren’t annoying enough, the slider broke so it now opens both ways at once, all of the tabs to close the SD card slot, and the charging slot broke off, half of my calls drop..and then finally last night..i went to use my phone and of course it froze but then it started flashing black and white for 30 min even without the battery in, and now everytime I try to turn it on it remains on a white screen. I called PANTECH for a replacement and they said that they won’t do anything to fix that even though they said its a problem with the program used to run the phone. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST TO ANYONE TO BUY THIS PHONE..it is absolute garbage..a complete waste of money. My old flip phone from 6 years ago still works a lot better than this phone, and it has had vigorous use. I will never buy a PANTECH phone again.

That’s what happened to me! My phone right now is sooo slow and randomly restarts for no reason. It also deleted all my messages and wouldn’t let me text.

This phone is actually really good! I havent had any problems with this phone at all. Eve though many people it seems to have problems I highly recommened it! And yes you can replace it,which is very helpful just in case.

I just got this phone I figured some people would not like it at first but it’s good overall I’ve convinced my friends to get it it’s amazing. Just a few flaws I hate the picture thing where it takes forever to load it second I hate the the video it only records for about thirty seconds that’s it for me

Go to address book or press 8 on keypad, then go to contacts or press 1 on keypad then click on(select) then go to any name in your contacts then click on (options) you can scroll down to 9. copy and move or use keypad 9, (6 is for deleting and can delete off SIM too) then you’ll be given 3 options: 1. move to phone 2. copy to SIM 3. copy all to SIM You can scroll down or use keypad 3 Not sure if you still have phone or already got said info., but hopefully this will help and others too with same problem. so that would be 8 1options 9 3 to copy all to SIM card…

you can take a picture and then after keep on taking pictures without saving it somewhere, all you have to do is press the clear button

I have had the Matrix for over a year now and have never had an issue with it sliding out both ways, the slider breaking or falling apart, weak signal (unless I am somewhere that I expect a weak signal like an elevator or on a road trip in the middle of nowhere), dropped calls, the phone not sending messages (unless like I mentioned I am in an area where the signal is bad), doing too many chimes, randomly shutting off, or anything like that. I do have issues sometimes with battery life, but I am online a lot with the phone. It has taken quite a beating since I got it with pretty much constant use and having accidentally dropped it several times, and I still don’t have issues with any kind of malfunction. I would get another one if I weren’t switching carriers for a company discount.

mine did that too. Like its really pissing me off when it happens. like ill try to restart or turn it off to charge and when it comes back on all my messages and everything is like two days old and just randomly delete my messages..so if you find away to fix it let me know

So its been sometime i have had this..the durability is good i probably have dropped it more than usual but thats about the only good thing. Now the battery sucks and drains sooo fast and then this phone will freeze so i will have to restart it and then my messages will be gone. Its like only shows information like two days ago when it turns off then back on. so this phone is only good for like 5 months then it turns to hell
