Comments on: Review of ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 9 & ADOBE PREMIERE ELEMENTS 9 http://blog.testfreaks.com/review/review-of-adobe-photoshop-elements-9-adobe-premiere-elements-9/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=review-of-adobe-photoshop-elements-9-adobe-premiere-elements-9 Thu, 23 May 2013 07:05:24 +0000 hourly 1 http://wordpress.org/?v=3.5.1 By: Johnsmcgill http://blog.testfreaks.com/review/review-of-adobe-photoshop-elements-9-adobe-premiere-elements-9/comment-page-1/#comment-45660 Johnsmcgill Sun, 11 Sep 2011 04:42:00 +0000 http://www.testfreaks.com/blog/review/review-of-adobe-photoshop-elements-9-adobe-premiere-elements-9/#comment-45660 I just spent countless hours with Adobe Tech support trying to resolve an issue with Elements 9 ‘Organizer’.  Whenever it was started;  within a couple of minutes, an error message window popped up; Elements Organizer has encountered a problem and needs to close.  Any unsaved work will be lost.  Sorry for the inconvenience”.  After upgrading my RAM (it was below the listed requirement of minimum 1GB – my oversight)!. However, this didn’t solve the problem – more hours with tech support.  Next, I was told I needed to upgrade my video card -afterwards the problem still occurred.  Many more hours with tech support only to be told that my user account under which I signed in, didn’t exist.  Another trip to the repair shop.  Once this was corrected, the error message continued to appear.  Finally, Tech support called me back to check my progress.  When I told them the error message still popped up, I was quickly informed that the problem is associated with the software itself.  It doesn’t present in all computers; however, it must be common enough that Elements 10 is going to be released in approximately a month.  If you are getting this error message and your system meets the program requirements, don’t pull your hair out.  Contact Tech support and make them aware that you know this problem likely originates from the software.  I would suggest you request a refund on Elements 9, or request a free upgrade to Elements 10 when it becomes available.
