I have one of these, bought it year and a half ago, and I like it a lot, but there are a few drawbacks.
You can only charge it with the AC charger, the USB does not charge it, that is only for transferring files :-(
I use it almost everyday on my 40-minute bus ride to/from work, and have to charge it about every other day.

It takes a (relatively) long time to load a book (i.e. to "open" a book) to start reading it, but once it is open I haven't had any problems of the reader being slow (until I open the next book).

Also when choosing an e-reader one important thing to consider is the screen technology, this kind is back-lit, better for reading in the dark, but worse for reading in bright light. Worse battery life than e-ink, and more tiring to read. But it does give the versatility of color, and videos. So it's a trade-off you must decide about for yourself.

As I said, I do like it, but since I only use it for reading books, I decided to "upgrade" and have just bought the new e-ink kindle 4 (with "special offers")

That is what sub-folders are for.
Home Button, yeah, it's a little inconvenient hitting it by accident, but you get used to avoiding it pretty quickly.

I have had this eReader for 5 months now and use it daily. It is poorly crafted, poorly designed and poorly concieved. There are buttons in the worst of places. I am constantly accidentally hitting the return to main page button with my right thumb. Navigation is non-intuitive and poorly designed. When you are trying to find a book title you can only see the first 8-10 characters of the title. If you have named the book to keep them in some sort of order (by author maybe) forget finding the book without selecting each title and going into the book to find out what it is. The wi-fi is slow. The broswer is virtually unuseable.

It was given to me for Christmas. I am glad to have received an eReader just to find out if I would actually use one. I find even one as bad as "TheBook" is much better than reading paperbacks. I have stayed away from eReaders because I don't like the way vendors are trying to force proprietary formats and exclusive use of their distribution network. Also I am concerned that the publisher's will end up driving up the cost of eBooks and taking away the paperback option. The greed is neverending.

The Augen folks had an opportunity to have something special here. It would be great to have a really high quality eReader that gives us the chance to read books and leave the computing to laptops and ipads. They couldn't even get that part right. I would NOT consider buying another Augen product. There are far better products out there for not much more money.
