I have smart TV without wireless but with LAN port. It is place in one room and my wifi internet router is placed in other room. How this device can connect my TV with internet. As per discussion with a salesman, It can be done via hotspot mode… but dont rely on him and i searched on internet a lot but couldn’t find correct and complete answer. Can you please provide me any solution. Thanks in advance.

In repeater mode i can use the LAN port to connect a windows portable on the internet, but I can’t use the LAN port to connect my Samsung Smart TV to the internet…. and the latter is why I bought it…. QUestion of course is, if this is due to the DLINK or is my Samsung smart tv the problem ? I can however connect my Samsung Smart TV to the internet using an old Ruckus solution I have (which is too slow to stream HD content to the TV. Thats why I bought the D-link…

We don’t get paid by companies to review their products. I have to question how you were using this in a library anyway, it’s made for home use really. The library actually let you connect this to their router? Somehow I find that hard to believe….

… Is this “review” payed for by d-link or something? I tried to connect from a library, and it was not at all like described here! Now I cannot even connect. I get a authenitification error when I try to connect, and I do not have time to write the password before I get a new authentification error, and it asks for my password again. Well, I would like to give the password, but I need some time to write it! And why does it turn off my wi-fi? Probably my problems are because I do not know that much about how to set up network, but the advertisement says it is easy and fast. Flying is also easy, if you are a bird.
