i have pantech p7040p but damage the LCD any one have LCD of this model i want to purchase.

im going on my second year, it freezes every time i use the internet. really annoys me. anyway, i used to get really good signal, now i have no signal anywhere, i was wondering if anyone knew how to fix that?

This is by far my least favorite phone only because it freezes a lot. Which I have gotten use to but I just recently purchased a new car with blue tooth capabilities…everyone elses phone handles it find…mine shuts off as soon as I get into the car! Its so annoying! Got a replacement phone…another Pantech Link ii & it does the same thing!

I HATE THIS PHONE!!! its so hard i tried recording phone calls and you can here the other person but you crackle in the recording. the calls are staticey and the camara sucks!

I HATE HATE HATE this phone! I’ve had two in the past week….both are very picky as to when they decide to accept incoming calls. I’m returning this phone and getting a totally different one >_>

I think this had the potential to be a really great phone, but after 2 weeks it started dropping calls and getting error messages saying network failed when making calls or sending texts. The phone also constantly froze up when making calls and sometimes the numbers would not work. I don’t know if I just got a bad one or not but I am sending it back for a Pantech Pursuit since I do a lot of texting. I really did like a lot of things about the phone, but I think it needs tweaking. I miss my Motorola Karma.

This phone is alright at best. I have had it for about 6 months now and hate it more and more by the day.
It has a really hard time sending text messages sometimes. I will have full service and 3G and it still says failed to send. It has the absolute worste contact browser ever!
If you are looking for someone in your contacts to send a text to good luck. There is no rhyme or reason to how it’s orginized sometimes it’s by first names sometimes by last. If you type in say kim and have more than one kim it will only show the first one and then the other people around that person according to it’s useless orginizational skills, it’s impossible to find people!
It also has really bad call quality and has problems connecting the call, and I live in LA county where AT&T apparently covers everyone!
And as other people have said the text message inbox capacity is extremely small, I fill it up daily.
No cord comes with it to allow you to plug in headphones and listen to your phones music player.
The camera is mediocre at best and has no flash.
The battery life is horrible! If you use your phone heavily I would not reccomend this phone. I am a light phone user I only use it to text, maybe 5 minutes worth of phone calls a day (if that), no internet, nothing else. I have to recharge it daily, if you don’t it won’t make it through a second day. You have to charge it everynight, which isn’t bad if you are home everynight, but sometimes I go out and don’t make it home and it will die the next day.

Curious. I keep seeing the exact same comment, word-for-word, from Oni_brandon about the Pantech Link on several different review sites. It’s almost as if he’s getting paid for these comments, or has an axe to grind. It’s especially curious considering that most reviews of this phone on all the major tech magazine sites are quite positive.
