In case you’re still having this problem, you need to perform a “hard reset” on your phone. This will erase all of your applications, and temporarily erase your contacts (they should return about an hour or so after the reset. You can find instructions for doing this online! Ive found that it eliminates almost ALL problems I have with my devour.

Readingall of these messages would have been very smart, before buying this retarted phone!!
I’ve gone through just about everyone of these problems, some not as bad, some worse.
The devour randomly shuts off all by itself and restarts like a computer has to rebute.
I will be in the middle of a text or while being online, they screen will just freeze up, and wont allow you to do anything, I have to take the battery out and wait awhile to put it back in.
My battery will only get charge from the charger when it feels like it, so I always have to have my charger on me.
My SD card no longer works, I didn’t do anything to it, but my phone will no longer save pictures, videos, or music. Nor can I delete any of them.
I did love this phone when I first got it, but in the time I’ve been stuck with it, I regret my desision in buying it, and very much wish I read these comments before I bought it, which is the reason that I’m writing this.
Hopefully someone will see this and save there money, buy a droid!

My devour has shut off randomly and when I try 2 turn it on the white screen comes up and blur just blinks on the screen until I take the battery out and it just continues 2 do it I have called customer service and got a replacement but also my replacement phone is now doing the same any suggestions on what could be wrong ?

hey you guys!!! i just bought me one. cool !!! the salesman at the verizon store transfered over all the contacts and my pictures from the older 755 razor phone i had for 2 1/2 years. can you text me a msg. on how the heck i can access my pictures. thanks.
like i said i just got it, so still learning how to play with a new toy.

I love the devour, but I have already had to get a refurbished one and sent the old one back because the update it did the 2.2 made it force close all the time I couldt call out and text message where not coming through.. the refub. Seems to be working just fine but only time will tell.

Bought this yesterday. Charged it up to 100%. Unplugged it before going to sleep. Woke up in the morning and found the battery down to 60%. A little while later, it was 50%. Charged it up to 100% again. Two hours later, after simply looking at one e-mail message, it was down to 80%. Will see if I can return it tomorrow. After two days they want a $35 restocking fee!

I loved this phone for the first 3 weeks and by the end of the 2 months, I want to throw it out the window. I get lucky if I don’t have to charge it halfway through the day (that’s after charging it every night), it randomly deletes all my contacts and my call records, and even though I can sync my contacts back in, my contacts are no longer linked together (i.e. someones contact linked with their myspace and facebook account) and it randomly stopped showing contact pictures.

I’ve went thru 3 of these phones in less than 3 months the software sucks ! The phone keeps freezing up , false readings on the screen, the motoblur messaging keeps shuting down and it erases your messages for no reason in some cases when it shuts down. Don’t waste your money buy a droid!

Availability!!!! I have been keeping an eye out for this phone but it has yet to be shown for sale on Verizon’s website. I have checked with the stores in the Washington DC area and they have no release date yet.
Any ideas?

I am wondering if there is a way to adjust the hearing volume
