The $149.99 is actually very cheap because Verizon, AT&T and Sprint charge 2x that amount at least....so that's a deal right there! I use this now for business everyday and since I was Grandfathered into the $40/5GB monthly deal it's even better! I get roughly 2.5MB/down so that's fabulous!

I'm not trying to argue with you here, but it would help if you explained what 262 and 191 are referring to? Kilobits per second? Kilobytes per second? It makes a huge difference. 8 times the difference to be exact. 262 kilobytes per second would be a good DSL connection speed, whereas 262 kilobits per second calculates to about 32 to 33 kilobytes per second, which isn't great, but is still over 5 times faster than dialup, which could be handy to have on the go.. especially if you're a social networking freak like me. I just like to know I can read peoples updates, and update my own status anywhere I want. Also, 3g isn't very fast, when i've used it on my cell phones that is the average speed I would go, 5 times faster than dialup. 3g kinda sucks! That's why I'm waiting for 4g.

Your answer is bs. I bought the mifi, have spoken to your middle eastern custormer reps, but have not been able to get any good answer to my questions. Why does your phone number to top up up on your mifi page take me to your virgin mobile cell phone reps? Why do I only get max speeds of 262 download and 191 upload, and this is supposed to be 3g? Even after running a speed test against your own site I am still running at only 7%. If I am paying for 3g then why don't I get 3g?

I got the Mifi device in October 2010, for 2 months it was working great, could stream movies with no problem. After that I have had to call every other day to get service reconnected. Same drill on hold for a while, take out the battery, hold the button, reset the device, rerun setup wizard several times and still the same thing. When I would escalate it they would tell me I would get a call back and gave me a ticket number when I called back the current agent said the ticket number was invalid. I talked to a supervisor and all he said was sorry for the inconvenience, typical customer service line when they really don't care but have to say it incase the call is recorded. They did send me a replacement device but the issues just got worse. This has been one of the worst services for internet I have ever had. You are screwed if you get this service.

connect your computer or device to the mifi adapters network and load that page. that page is hosted inside the device similar to an actual router where you log in to the adapters hosted web page to make adjustments to it's performance and settings

where do you live? reading a 78 page manual isn't going to increase your connection speeds, but helping us find out more information about the towers you use might. have you tried a speedtest to see if perhaps you are expecting unrealistic results?
