we bought 3 at the same time for 3 different computers and none of them lasted. I have a hard time for the drawer to open and just does not work. We barely used them. I would not buy them again!!!

i have this unit which records perfect although the final reproduction cd disc is full of static ?
please advise as i waisted 12 memorex discs that are fine in my dell lap top .
the music being reproduced was a mix of older and brand new cds

This is a POS. I can burn CDs, DVDs, play CDs but can’t play DVDs Loaded the latest driver for both Video card and DVD player still no DVD play. put back my old CD/DVD writer/player. Works fine. DO NOT RECOMMEND this product.

Last night under normal conditions my DVD writer model SH-S22 popped like blew up destroying the contents of my Mac DVD Tiger disk shattering it into small pieces for no apprrant reasons. Even the drive popped apart and the door wont even open.
I hope we can come to some kind of agreement.

My brother also purchased one of these super writemasters as he loves it. But now he has moved and he left me the computer. After he left i watched dvd’s on teh computer and it worked fine but about 2 months ago it started working bad. When i put a dvd in it works fine the only problem is is that it keep skipping, the sound i mean not the image.. Can someone please help me highly appreciated

Is this unit compatible with labelflash technology a new style that will burn the label underneath the clear plastic & is so much better than lightscribe media & technology. This label is not affected by light & is protected.

I purchased two samsung SH-S223Q dvd burners one for a spare. I don’t think it’s ever gonna quit. I converted all my VHS movies over to dvd and burned them to dvd with the SH-S223Q. Samsung Burner, im talking 453- 4.7 gig and 67 -8.5 gig D/L disk and still going. I have not used my spare yet. I did’nt think anyone built quality any more. MY HAT’s OFF TO SAMSUNG

My Home PC is Compaq-My presario 5000 2001 model. Can I set the New Samsung Super Master DVD Writer to my system? or IDE is only compatible for it?
