My dad got one 1 yr. and had the worst luck and cant get it to concect with wireless linksys wirless-G 2.4ghz from the laptop computer thats connected to the internet and its just keeps saying cant connect to internet like internet explore does when u have no internet on the computer.

I got a Sansa PMP and wonder if it is possible to get such features?
Even accessing the site from SanDisk, I can not find the model of my phone to update my firmeware.
Could someone help me?

i have this blue mp4 and i had pluged it into my xbox360 and i configured it then i went to turn it on and it said (please free 90mb) but i pluged it in the computer and it said theres nothing in the folder.

My sansa sandisk played very well and just recently the ‘wheel’ won’t turn or only turns when it wants to…………I get stuck on ‘shuffle all’ songs and can’t get to my other links.

How can I fix the ‘wheel’?

Hey there
I bought my sansa connect for £24.99 on ebay (shop: trusted_goods) and its exactly as you said on the review
however following kristofer’s comment on updating the firmware – the second link completely confused me and had me waster 2 days trying to figure it out.

The second link is actually needed only if you have problems actually using the recovery software on vista. I only realised a page or two beyond the thread that my sansa connect wasnt recognised by the DeviceRecovery program because it wasnt in recovery mode. Dont follow the instruction specific to vista UNLESS you have already tried what is shown below

To put it in recovery mode follow instuctions on this pdf link: http://mp3support.sandisk.com/tools/connect-recovery-instructions.pdf

Then use: http://mp3support.sandisk.com/tools/DeviceRecoverySetup.exe to update the firmware etc. Itll take a while.
And also remember that any files on the player will be comletely removed.
Which is why I have to put everything back on again – worth it for free internet radio tho
Still wish that I could connect to other stuff other than yahoo

I just bought one of these and thought they came with FM capability. However, I have trouble finding information on how to access this. I did download the instruction manual, but unless I’m blind, I can’t find any infomration on this. Does anyone have any information on the FM capability and how to access it?

My Sansa has some problem ..
If I connect to computer it show nothing but sansa just power on .
Even I install sansa media converter (include with product) software show no player connect.I just can use only radio station.In music folder there is no music file.
When I tough recoding button it show low power even i charge long time.
Could you kindly reply me about my sansa problem

I wish there was a firmware upgrade that could alow you to sync or at least browse the unit over a wireless network, If it would I could just leave it in my car and drag songs to it whenever I wanted to add new music to it.

Common problem with Sansas… they do freeze from time to time. With the lock button UNLOCKED, Hold the power button for 10-20 seconds. If this doesn’t work, you may have to do factory reset. See this link: http://www.sansacommunity.com/article/11050/Sansa-Connect-Recovery-Tool-Procedures/
It is my experience that a bum mp3 file will corrupt the whole player. Once that file is deleted, all will be well. I have never figured out why some mp3 files will do this as I use the same program to rip them all… HTH
