And also, electrical conduction / sound conduction. Just like silver is a better electrical conductor than copper (and therefore you’d have less resistance on the silver than you would on the copper when electricity is traveling through the electrical wiring in your home), gold is a better electrical conductor / better SOUND conductor for SOUND than nickel [metal]. Therefore, gold-plating plugs would be better than nickel-plating plugs.
