Hello, I need to know how to use the steel anchor you mentioned. My Vizio did not come with instructions of any kind, just the anchor and bolt in a bag. I don't understand how to attach it to the television itself. I've tried talking with techs at Costo, Bestbuy, and Frys and no one seems to know how to get instructions for the anchor. Please help!

I pruchased this tv 4-09. I purchased direct tv before i purchased the tv. when conneceted to standared direct tv output the picture was crap. I called direct tv to inquire about what the problem was they imformed me that that there were two diffrent boxes a standard connect box and a hd box.
when i got the HD box it made all the diffferance in the picture. i've seen reviews about the cheapness of the remote and the small sound of the tv's builtin speakers and all that is ture if that really matters and has any bearing on the picture and the total overall makeup of the set it self. I hooked the audio to my jvc audio system and was able to obtain a surround system that works well with my audio system and is plesant and enjoyable for me in my finished basement. notice: if you purchase this tv make sure you get HD boxes or signals with your systems provider.

ric - Technically, I didn't write that, it was just copied and posted from the Vizio website, that's one of the reasons it's listed under the Specifications and in italics... not sure what you're confused about though

you write: "Integrated Digital/QAM television tuner - enjoy high definition and regular television programs with or without paid high definition service. "

I have Comcast Digital. Cable from the wall into the TV I get some HD channels (mostly local, TBS) but don't get what I get with the stupid little comcast box they hooked up which go beyond channel 30. The installer said I don't even need the stupid little box because this TV has the tuner.

With the stupid little comcast box I get the channels I should but none of the HD ones I get with direct connection to the TV.

Confused and frustrated.

I picked up a recertified VO47L over the weekend at Tiger Direct for $799CAD. Condition is mint - like brand new. The picture quality is great - colors are very accurate. The ATSC tuner is on par with my HVR-1250 in terms of sensetivity. 4 player splitscreen on the Wii looks like crap - even with component cables, but I think that has more to do with the Wii.
