You managed to not mention the resolution ONCE. It's 640 x 480, and I'm wondering what limitations that puts on your viewing source. It isn't even 720p. If I'm playing a game in 1024 x 768 mode, what happens with these glasses? (If I play a game in 1280 x 960 on a 720p TV used as a PC monitor, there is no picture at all). Or if I'm viewing a DVD, are areas of the picture cropped to fit the glasses' resolution? A very superficial review!

When you deal with the people at vuzix, they treat you like you are a slave to technology, when it comes to contacting them about repairs (that can happen easily because of their fragile components), you are better of finding a third party as they are only interested in selling whatever surplus supply they have invested. Also their English is sub-standard.

I'm very diasapointed with the Vuzix. I bought one, but did'nt get it to work properly.
Tried it in FSX, GTR and GTlegends, which even has a driver for it.
But the calibration doesn't work inside the game. Screen flipped in GTr, Gtlegends crashes instantly and in FSX it is always looking to one side.
calibration outside the programm works ok ish, but as soon you're inside a game, nothing.
This wouldn't be a big problem if there was support from Vuzix, but everything you try, silence from their support.
Even on their forum, no responce to simple questions.
I can only recommend not to buy this unit, unless you need something to gather dust.

Hello. I recieved my glasses today, and, apparently, they don't work for what I wanted.
The description says that they work with gaming systems... WHITCH ONES!?! They don't even support a PSP.
That is terrible.
Are they returnable?

Hi, great review. Just wondering how you got into product testing really, and if you have any tips or starting points? Do you contact each company directly about each product or are you registered with someone specific? If you could email with any tips that's be ace. Thanks, Rich.
